It’s been a busy year for the Beans. Luca is a senior in high school and is in the depths of college applications (don’t ask her about it!). Chris just got back from a guys’ trip to Costa Rica and is trying to hang onto his tan and chill attitude. I started making hats after we attended the Kentucky Derby for our 22nd anniversary in May. Summer was spent renovating a house in Rockland, Maine, where we hope to spend more time once we have an empty nest. I turned 50 in August and Luca’s band, Garfunkopop, had their debut show at my party! Golf (for Chris) and Pilates (for me) feature heavily in our everyday lives. Rowdy and Charlie, our dogs, are still crazy and ruling the roost.
We’re wishing you a very happy holiday season. To my knowledge Robert Earl Keen doesn’t have a Hanukkah song, so please roll with the Christmas greeting and interpret it broadly.
